Abstract
The purpose of this research was twofold. First, the research revealed the practices among primary care providers in northern Mississippi for treating GAD whether psychotherapy, pharmacological, or a combination. The specific modalities of psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy were listed. Second, the research revealed that these management practices are consistent with contemporary evidence-based research.
