Tuesday Nite
Dear Chris:
I sincerely hope that when you 
read this you will not be in the 
hospital, or ever feeling badly. 
You should have been over for 
the dances last weekend. They were
very good, even though they 
were crowded, and the music 
was something to write home 
about. There have been rumors
that Kay Kyser will have a 
chance to come back for the 
finals
Have you been through any 
more life-sapping days of school-
teaching? I imagine that you 
were almost as scared as I 
was when Dad caught me

smoking a cigarette at fifteen.
No, I didn't see Led Shown and 
his men dancers, not because they 
might have been too effeminate,
but because I forgot they were to 
appear, and wandered away some-
where else, like school children will 
do. 
The bids to the π K.A. dance were
mailed today. I "slow-leaked" that 
dance, in other words no got um bid. 
I am going home with Helen and
her brother this week-end
Since you are not going with
Chick anymore do you suppose
I could have the honor of 
"calling on you" sometime? I know 
of nothing that i would like better, 
if I may?
